The Good Ship Higgs Boson

One Man. One Space Ship. One Higgs Boson particle generator.

Manipulate gravity to explore the limits of your world!

Controls:
ArrowKeys - Move
WASD keys - Change gravity
R - Reset Level


The concept behind the game is that you are in a space ship in the far-distant reaches of space, thousands of light years away from any planet. Compared to the 'massive' amount of space around you, your spaceship is indeed tiny! The ship is named after it's most advanced technology: A Higgs boson generator!


So I made this game for Ludum Dare, which, if you don't know already, is a game making competition where you have 48 hours to make a game for a specific theme. The theme this year was "Tiny World". I tried to think of some game that would fit the concept, without being the same as everyone else (ie not a game where you are a miniature character or anything involving a literal tiny planet). This is my first time entering, and I'm pretty happy with my entry. The theme of

You can also check out the source code here: [link] . I coded the game in Actionscript 3.0, (the programming language in flash). Keep in mind that I programmed this game very quickly which means zero documentation, and quite messy and verbose code.
